Bookshop Events

One of the things we promised to do when the Bookshop was set up was to arrange a series of events. With the kind help of our members and others we have put together our first series of events. We hope there is something that will interest everyone. You can find details of the events on the special Bookshop Events page.

The next event is a on the 26th September and will feature author Wilma Hayes talking about the writing of her crime novel Freeing my Sisters.

There is no charge for any of these events and we are extremely grateful to the people who have either offered their services as speakers or who have been volunteered by us!

All events will take place at the shop unless numbers are large enough to warrant booking another venue. Tea/coffee, cakes and cold drinks will be available to purchase at every event and whilst we do not have a licence allowing us to serve alcohol you are very welcome to bring your own; we can supply glasses!

In order to give us some idea of the numbers attending each event we should be very grateful if you would let us know if you are coming by phone, email, by popping into the shop or by using the contact form below. [contact]

We do hope that you will be able to come along to some if not all of these events and we look to seeing you at the shop.
