Malvern’s own Elaine Hugh-Jones has written over 70 songs and a number of choral pieces. Her work has been gaining an ever increasing following over the last 40 years and been performed by some of our leading singers and musicians, including Roderick Williams, Elizabeth Watts, James Gilchrist and Diana Moore. The evening is a celebration of one of Malvern’s musical treasures and her widening popularity, and will include an introduction to her work by William Coleman, live performances and the chance to browse the editions of her music published by the locally based Caradoc Press.
